Journaling my Life

This past weekend we had a Sapp family reunion in Hatton, Missouri. Sapp's are on my mothers side of the family. We got there a little late, and by the time we got any food it was almost all gone. There was no meat left, and my mother forgot to tell us we needed to bring chairs so we ended up having to sit outside of the pavilion on a splintery picnic table in the sun. It was very hot that day. Needless to say we didn't stay long. The one thing i did like was I got to see my cousin Lisa who I haven't seen in a long time. She had her three kids with her, they were so cute. After we left we went out to my mom's ex-husband's house and visited with him a while. The girls haven't seen him in a long time. They ended up getting to ride the 4-wheeler for a while. They had a really good time. We then went to my mom's house to cool off a little and try and get Beckham settled down for a nap. If he gets off schedule it is really hard to make him happy. Plus mom said she would watch him while we went fishing. HA HA. We got him to sleep then asked mom to watch him while we went fishing. I knew it was to good to be true because she didn't. But she never does. I should have expected that. We were disappointed because we never get to take the family fishing because there is no one to watch Beckham besides my oldest daughter and we really wanted her to go to. So we didn't go. We just waited for Beckham to wake up then headed home. HOME SWEET HOME.
